Children are a gift and a blessing from God!
As a Church in Chilliwack, we view the children of our community as a gift from God and do not want to merely ‘babysit’ or entertain but help them to develop a healthy life foundation based on the Word of God and an unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ. We value each child as a unique, gifted and wonderful creation of God destined to serve and honour Him.
Not only do we put effort into teaching our children the Bible and Christian truths, but we strive to equip them to find ways to serve the church family as well. This may take the form of helping out when there is a need, drama, worship, praying for one another or applying what they have learnt at home.
At Mountain View Church we take the safety and security of our children very seriously, as do any of the Chilliwack Churches. Our staff and volunteers are required to undergo training in our child safe program ‘Plan to Protect’ from Winning Kids Inc. (a standard used by the Evangelical Free Church of Canada), have background checks performed by the RCMP and receive training to be Sunday School teachers and helpers.
Youth Events Thurdays @ 6:30pm at Sardis Community Church Dugout.
We are passionate about providing a fun and inviting atmosphere for our youth. We try to maintain a balance between engaging young minds with the profound truth revealed in Scripture and having a blast together with games and activities. Our youth leaders strive to see young believers grow into mature Christians who make the important decisions of their adult life through the lens of a strong faith that is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:20)

Sunday morning worship is led by gifted and passionate volunteers, who all love music and want to use their gifting to lead people before God in worship.
We exist to worship God, in fact all of our life should be about worship. Sunday mornings allow us the opportunity to express this worship with songs, music, testimonies, and prayer.
Need Prayer, We Will Pray For You
We value prayer highly at Mountain View Church. Our prayer ministry is coordinated by Marilyn McQuade, who has a team that is constantly available to pray for needs, and also meets on a Sunday mornings before the start of our service.
She is the ‘go to’ person when someone has a prayer need and ensures that the prayer team is fed all prayer requests, follows up on answers and lets the pastor & elders know if special ministry is required.
Send us your prayer request today. We would love to talk to God on your behalf
